But even with all the secrecy, there are still whispered confessions among the women in the Amish community that really turn some heads. When doing research for this piece, I dove into learning about the Amish culture, how it was different from my own but also how it was similar. For the purpose of this article, Amish and Mennonite confessions will both be represented but note that there is a difference among the two communities, which will be outlined later.
